This new bathroom is actually in a first floor extension on the side of a flat, supported on stilts above a pathway.

 

The timber frame extension is very small but opens up what was previously a large closet to create a space now large enough for a bath, separate shower, loo and washbasin. The new combi boiler is concealed in a cupboard behind the loo. A VERY efficient use of space.

After completing the extension, the owners asked us to completely reconfigure the rest of their apartment, moving the kitchen and knocking through to make a larger bedroom. Such a fun project, we couldn't say no.
